Description:

​Amazon is hiring an IT Support Engineer I within its Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) group in Gurgaon/Haryana. In this position, you will be on the ground floor of Amazon's massive logistics network, implementing technical infrastructure solutions and delivering high-availability support for computer hardware, corporate operating systems, and specialized enterprise application software. This position moves beyond standard runbook execution; you will manage local technical integration projects, troubleshoot complex non-SOP system failures, optimize local network routing, and identify structural operational bottlenecks to keep local fulfillment engines running 24/7.

Requirements:

  • ​Formal Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative engineering stream.
  • ​1+ years of hands-on technical experience with Windows Server technologies—specifically managing Active Directory (AD), Distributed File System (DFS), Print Services, and SCCM deployment infrastructures.
  • ​2+ years of professional networking experience administering DNS configurations, DHCP scopes, SSL certifications, packet inspection, and navigating TCP/IP and the OSI Model.
  • ​2+ years of practical enterprise experience in PC/workstation hardware repair, complex troubleshooting, system provisioning/imaging, and asset liquidation processes.
  • 2+ years of operational experience troubleshooting systems within a multi-user, mission-critical, high-availability environment where minimizing downtime is critical.
  • ​2+ years of technical experience supporting and debugging Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems in a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • ​1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience, including remotely supporting diverse global business users.
  • ​Proven capability to lead local infrastructure projects, create and update operational policies/SOPs, perform systematic root-cause analysis on recurring issues, and propose process improvements.
  • ​Direct experience configuring and supporting corporate video conferencing and telecommunication hardware systems.
  • ​Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, willingness to adapt and deviate from standard guidelines when necessary to resolve high-impact failures, and clear written/verbal communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional support teams.
